I worked for Gwinnett pd for years and they have the best K-9 unit along with Gwinnett sheriffs department. Paul Corso was an awesome handler.

If you are wondering, some children are highly sensitive to any type of hair cutting or brushing.

We had a chocolate lab who loved my 2 year old son more than anyone. One day, my son figured out a way to open the gate in our backyard, and he just took off. I was gone for MAYBE 2 minutes. When I realized he was gone, I called Chief (my lab), and he took off looking. About 20 minutes later, Chief and my son walked back like it was nothing. Chief got steak that night for dinner! RIP Chief ❤

I hope Sika got all the treats for doing a great job. I also hope these 2 officers get commendations for their calm work in locating that young child. Their attitude and demeanor went along way with helping that child stay calm and get him back home. Kudos to all!!

It is so incredible that he was found safe! Most people with autism that go missing are found in water. And most of the time they aren’t breathing anymore by the time they are found. This child was in a ditch which can often fill with water. Praise our lord Jesus Christ for protecting this young boy! 👏
