The pretrial checklist for a Bangladeshi man charged with two counts of murder will be heard next month at the High Court in Lautoka.
This was decided by Justice Anare Tuilevuka yesterday.
Mohammed Masum was represented by Legal Aid Commission lawyer Kelly Vulimainadave while Prenika Lata represented the state.
Masum is charged with the alleged murders of Mohammed Nazrul Islam Khandakar and Rohan Bepari at Rarawai, Ba in April 2020. It is alleged that he shared a flat with the two deceased men in the area where the incident took place.
Ms Lata told the court that the matter was to fix a pretrial checklist hearing date and Justice Tuilevuka set the date for March 3 and adjourned the matter.
